Intermediate 'Discounted' Rent

This option offers new build properties at 80% (or less) of current market rents and is available through a number of Housing Associations.

This option is also available through some Key Worker organisations such as NHS Trusts who aim to help qualifying or newly qualified staff to settle into their jobs and local community.

How does it work?

Homes are available on an assured short-hold tenancy, usually for an initial period of six months, which is reviewed regularly. Many housing associations that let properties through this scheme will offer an option to buy a share in the property on a New Build HomeBuy basis at a later date.
